YOGA BASICS SERIES
with SYLVIA EHRHART
This four week semi-private in studio series is great for the beginner, or for anyone looking to renew their practice.
Each week we will begin with a centering of the mind and body through simple breathing techniques (pranayama) before moving into a well-rounded practice of the basic postures (asana); seated, simple sun salutations, standing(strengthening/flexibility), twisting, forward folds, hip openers, heart openers and relaxation.
We will close each session with an introduction/discussion on the first four (one each week) Yoga Sutras (philosophy) leading into a short seated meditation to seal the practice.
You will be given a weekly handout for a suggested daily practice during the series.
At the completion of the series, you will be given the opportunity to have a private session with Sylvia to discuss and explore a personally curated practice that is right for you!
Maximum 4 students for a unique semi-private experience!
